“Once again, I just want to emphasize how much I have appreciated your support and that of everyone from Remembering Live to help us through all of this. It seemed a bit inconceivable initially to consider holding a virtual funeral service for my father, but considering the risk involved we agreed this was the safest for everyone. I also felt strongly that my father would not have wanted to put any of us at risk. That said, you helped to make this virtual celebration a wonderful reflection of my vision for my father’s services. I don’t feel that we had to compromise on quality, and we also still felt the warmth and love of family and friends albeit in a virtual environment."
"Thank you for everything that you did to make today a special and memorable celebration of my dad’s life. Reaching out to Remembering Live for help in planning and operationalizing my dad’s memorial service was the best choice I could have made. At every point, I knew that you were listening to what I had to say about what was important to me and my family, and how we wanted that reflected in my dad’s memorial to express our love for him."
I am so grateful to have found Remembering Live. When my Mother passed away during the onset of the Pandemic, I was completely lost. I have family all over the country and I had no way to honor her in the way we way we all accustomed. During an internet search, that I thought would be futile, I found Remembering Live. What a blessing and miracle it was to find them. They made the hardest thing I've ever had to do and figure out, easy and painless. I worked with Oliver Segall, one of the founding members. He was compassionate, understanding, patient and even had to virtually teach me how to use Google Drive. I do not know what I would have done if not for this company and the fantastic people that work for them. The service they provide, in this ever changing world and surreal, unprecedented times, is absolutely priceless. The peace of mind they afford me and the service they provided me with was outstanding and is invaluable. They gave me a beautiful website memorial page that my Mother's relatives and friends have enjoyed and wrote their own personal messages on. They have brought us closure; they gave me a light in the darkness. I cannot thank them enough, and I cannot say enough good things about how outstanding these folks are.
It is beautiful, and exceeded all expectations. I can’t thank you enough for providing a virtual repository for our mother’s tribute and memories. I can look at it anytime I like, so it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for your prompt attention to details and requests, and for going the extra mile to serve my family’s needs. I will definitely be recommending your company to others.
We had our memorial service today. I just wanted to thank you both for being such a wonderful part of our team. Oliver, I especially appreciate your demeanor last week when I was still doing research into our options and still shellshocked by the passing of my father-in-law. Ben, I know that Whitney, my sister-in-law, is so grateful for how kind and understanding you've been. Both of you have managed to be compassionate even though this is your job; maybe it's your vocation.
Enthusiastically recommended! The Remembering.Live team, Ben, and his staff went above and beyond to be sure all aspects of our loved one’s virtual funeral were handled perfectly. They showed professionalism, compassion and dignity at all times. The team was available by phone, email and text, and handled multiple special requests without hesitation. Burying a loved one is challenging enough. It was a pleasure working with Remembering.Live to make all aspects of the virtual website and services as perfect as possible.
Words can't fully express our gratitude and appreciation for all that you did to help us provide a wonderful memorial service for our father. The staff and services you provided were instrumental in allowing us to have so many family members, friends, and colleagues participate in the service. We had people from coast to coast involved. Your help with the pre-recorded videos, slide shows, and numerous participants was essential, it would have been too much for our family to handle on our own. Ben was available to us throughout the process and answered all our questions and continually checked-in to make sure we were prepared. Our family can't thank you enough for your support and professionalism throughout the process.
I wanted to provide feedback that the support we received from Ben was exceptional for my father in law Robert Spencer Brindle. Ben was prepared, very accessible for questions, and made many changes based on request from myself.
The celebration was well run by Diamond and we have received so many positive remarks from our friends and family.
More importantly my family especially my mother in law feels like she was able to grieve and remember her husband when she thought she had no other options due to COVID.
You are impacting many people’s lives positively with your company but more importantly the stand up people you have hired like Ben to manage it.
It's perfect. Thank you so much for facilitating that final edit.
The response has been wonderful. Everybody loves the site and many people have emailed me about how well they think it captures my mom, in tone, in feel. Every detail. There have been visitors from other countries -- Bolivia and Germany -- who have been able to access and appreciate the site, and several people have commented about how much they enjoy having a music playlist filled with Mom's favorite songs. One person even asked me if I would sign on to create their own memorial website when they eventually passed.
Thank you again for helping me realize my goal of honoring my mother and making it a reality.
First, I am so grateful for all of the support that you gave us to prepare a remote ceremony for my mom, your services were amazing. You were the 3rd company that I reached out to, I tried 2 others that I found first, both left me with call back slots that were missed and no direct call number. I started looking for a service on a Saturday and by the end of the day had given up, at night time I thought, just do a simple cell search and see what I can find, and I found you, Remembering.Live. I called the next day, and spoke to someone who was really sweet and helpful, who immediately connected me to Ben Posner. Ben took the reins and ran the course with me all week to get mom's celebration ready, and he did a marvelous job at getting it all together, helping host it, understanding our needs, being flexible to different traditions, and keeping people from all over the world in and participating with the ceremony. It was pretty remarkable. Tell me all of the places that you would like me to rave about you, I'm on it.
It is so hard to know how to even express my appreciation for you all and what you have done for us. When I first contacted Remembering Live, I was in a panic and felt the edges of my sanity fraying from all we had been through with the death of my mother from COVID and the subsequent maze of closed doors I had encountered in the process. And then Susan Barnaby quietly walked into my life and opened that door... and kept it open. Thank you so much, Susan, for your endless patience, your understanding, your encouragement and your empathy. Every step of the way you made me feel like we could do this and that it would be beautiful and worthy of my mother. Every time I panicked, you looked calmly into my eyes from hundreds of miles away and said, "It will be okay, I promise"... and I felt it. And you were right. Thank you Diamond for being calm, professional and in control and giving me ZERO to worry about today. You are an absolute rock star. HUGE thanks to Yann, who, although he never knew my mother, was able to wade through the stack of photos and pick truly the best ones and place them at the perfect moments to take me on a journey through my memories in a deeply touching way. I felt my mom in every moment of that video and will treasure it forever. And thank you to all of the folks behind the scenes at Remembering Live whose names I do not know but who made all of this happen for us. It is not the funeral that I had ever imagined for my mother, but I am so thankful that you all were there in these unprecedented times to make it something worthy of the amazing woman that she was.
